Coots-LSU game location dilemma

Oct 6, 2015, 7:42 PM

W-B could flood and Columbia in general is in bad shape due to the rains.

Next option Charlotte. The panthers just seeded rye grass and aren't keen on the idea that a game being played there before seeds take hold. Also NASCAR is in Charlotte this weekend and there are no hotel rooms to be had.

Next option play at LSU. This ranks pretty low on the list of options for obvious reasons.

Bottom on the list is playing at Athens (more like return to the scene if the crime from when UGA totally dominated the chickens).

On a side note imagine how bad doodoo ice at W-B smells now

I've been wrong two times, but this isn't one of them.

A flood in Willie B would be an improvement

Would USuC have to pay taxes on that?

I heard they are trying to move the gametime. What difference does it make what time it is played.

Thankfully Death Valley (the one and only) is...

...taken this weekend or we'd probably have to succumb to public pressure to allow our foul feathered cousins to use our stadium.

Clembert,
You may have dropped your slide rule on the keyboard....
It caused the keyboard to type "cousins" and we all know that's not even physically possible. So, you must have intended to type "coots" or "cluckers".
It's OK....

Bobby Dodd stadium should be available

Oct 6, 2015, 8:17 PM

might be a better option for them than playing between the hedges.

Atlanta is a real easy place to get to on short notice

Oct 6, 2015, 10:34 PM

for both teams. Since numbers would be cut down Bobby Dodd would work better than the Georgia Dome anyway - a smaller venue that would likely be filled up. I'm sure there's a lot of Columbia folks that wouldn't mind getting out of town for the weekend as a break.

And close to all the restaurants and hotels in Harbison

they could just play it championship week end..

Oct 6, 2015, 10:12 PM

considering neither team will be in the sec title game..tbh the way things are going in columbia and other parts of the state right now..the last thing south carolina college should be focused on is a football game.

Saw one comment asking if they could play at DV on Sunday.

LSU could play at the REAL Death Valley!

How do you keep Gamecocks out of your yard?
• Put up goal posts
What does a Gamecock grad call a Clemson Tiger grad in 2 years?
• Boss

Now, you're on to something....

Would be neat. But we are the real death valley, and knowing espn, they would make us give up the nickname on our first loss, no matter if we won the first 10 if it became a new rivalry like auburn has become with us.
