I am glad that Arizona and Texas are in the World Series. Now I can sit back, watch the games, and not be ‘that guy’ that is only rooting against the team(s) playing.

I don't think I'll really watch much of the world series at all. Maybe the final game to see the celebration. Its one of those things, people pull against the Yankees, Notre Dame, cowboys, duke, etc but at the end of the day you tune in to pull against those teams.
The Rangers and Dbacks don't lend much to the avg fan to watch. I'd bet the ratings will not be anything special.

It gets tiresome seeing grown men actively cheer against professional baseball teams on a Clemson football message board.
People need to realize these are sports, not life. Sure there are some bad apples when it comes to fans and players, but generalizing the makeup of an entire fan base or organization based off a few crappy individuals is pathetic.

So it's not ok to root against a rival team? Life long Mets fan (it's not been easy), so it's natural to root against the Braves and Phillies. The Mest sucked this, but both Braves and Phillies are out - small wins for a Mets fan.

Watching the Phillies choke really takes the steam out of Clemson not having a good season. I hate the Phillies with a passion and I think they are everything thats wrong with baseball. Trying to buy their way into a World Series...I hope they fail every year that Turner and Harper is wearing those god awful colors....Its a sh*t organization playing in a sh*t city playing in a sh*t state.
