OK Batman people, a question for you

Only Batman movie I have ever seen is the original one with Adam West/Burt Ward in it. Once, I almost watched the one with Elle Macpherson just to see her, but never got around to it.
So.......if I wanted to set aside a weekend of my life to watch all the Batman movies that have ever been made, what order would I watch them in for the story to make the most sense (aka Star Wars). Is there a logical order to them or are they all just telling the same basic story over and over?
Just wondering...movie pop culture has never really been my strong suit.

because I quit reading comic books and digging the superhero stuff when I was about 13. I was just interested to know because it seems like there's a new one out every year. I don't know why this one is special?!?!
For the record- "Ghost Rider" was my favorite comic book as a kid. And I did cave and watched that movie. And it sucked and ruined the whole deal for me being Nic Cage was playing Ghost Rider. {vomit}
