I just did some research I'm sure most of you are aware of this but I was not, in his 2nd and 3rd year he was 10-17 and 11-17 two losing seasons in a row. What if the fan base had ran coach k out of town at that point? It was his 4th year that things turned around so Brownell in my thoughts deserves the same consideration.

tournament game. and i did go to the games when i was in school. you would have loved it back then. dale and elden takin' care of bidness. twin towers baby! ACC (regular season) champs. beat teams like UNC and duke. it was pretty awesome.

Trust me I'm not a coach k fan but he built duke on defense first then the shooters came.

Have you personally been inside Duke's BB Gym? It has not changed since it was built. It looks like a high school gym. What makes it so tough is the students. That's almost all that is on the lower level. Coach Rat-Face did not want a new place like the Dean Dome, he knew what he would lose.

Yes I've been to littlejohn on many many occasions I live in Asheville NC so I am not far so I get to go to a lot of games and attendance was way down and that's understandable but I still love to watch us play.

Yes Duke has far better facilities and yes Nike throws money at them like crazy but it wasn't that way to start with.
