Clemson Softball is ELITE

Have very high hopes for this team, I believe they can play with anyone in the country. The players John has been able to get into Clemson is quite astonishing considering we’re such a young program. The sky’s the limit for our girls, there’s nothing they’re not really good at.

Has to be OU until someone takes it from them, what they did last year was seriously impressive. However I do believe that Clemson can compete with them.

Yeah TBH two years ago was my first time watching softball so I’m still learning what talent looks like. Would be unbelievable if we could get on that level so quickly

It’s remarkable how much immediate success softball has had after only being implemented a few years ago.
This immediate success in my opinion is a major example of how much Clemson University attracts high level athletes, coaches, students, etc.
As well as women’s lacrosse having great success already in its 1st year.

Exactly I never thought we would be so good so fast, they absolutely knocked it out the park with hiring Rittman. Just glad we have a softball team now, my daughter wants to play for them when she gets older.

Plus it is loaded with veteran talent, and when you have a team loaded with talented veterans, you can hope or expect great things to happen like the Lady CWS!!!

I'm going to play devil's advocate here, and I'll catch hell for it I'm sure, but why is it that we support only the women's programs that we are good at but belittle other women's sports we are not good at but *they* are?
Last year there was a female who is a friend of my daughter's who posted that she is a basketball player and her dream was to play basketball here. Very, very few people even acknowledgd her, much less encouraged her. Matter of fact, there was a thread on the 1st page making fun of women's basketball at the same time.
Anyway, feel free to call me a coot now simply because I'd love to see us support all of our sports, men and women, across the board including those we may not currently be good at yet.

Right and I follow the sports that I enjoy and regardless of if it’s men or women. Supporting something just because it’s women playing seems disingenuous to me but to each their own 🤷♂️🤷♂️

Was top 10 it would get plenty of support also. It doesn’t help that wbb has been our worst program for almost 20 years. We have had one decent season since the early 2000s and we are one of the worst power conference programs in the country. Hard to get any support that way.
