Beamer is definitely a huge step up from Muschamp from a “class” perspective. I think he’s a good guy and genuinely cares about the kids. Unfortunately, he took a job where the chicken curse will never be broken. He is destined for failure there and there’s absolutely nothing he can do to change it.

It makes beating the Coots a lot more fun when you hate their coach. I do wish Beamer was elsewhere and who couldn't love Spurrier with his snarky comments. Beating Mushchamp was a lot more fun! Seeing Beamer get choked up when asked about his Seniors showed me a lot.

Yep. He just took the wrong job. Seems to me, VT would be a better fit.

Beamer's a good fellow just got a tough head coach job. He doing a fair job in an awful environment. Don't like UofSuck but Beamer is ok. Hope they keep him for the next 20 years.

I hope that he will get out of there in time to go onto a school where he has a real chance to be successful. I think he has the ability to do so - but not at SC
