Clemson graduate Chad Connelly running for Congress Tuesday
May 1, 2017, 9:22 PM
|
|
Chad Connelly, Clemson class of 1985 and loyal Tiger fan, is running for Congress Tuesday. Chad graduated in civil engineering, was an army tank commander, engineer and businessman. He is a conservative. He has outstanding communication and leadership skills--so much so that Reince Priebus came to South Carolina to hire Chad in 2014 to work for the Republican National Committee. If elected, Chad will make his mark in Washington for the people of South Carolina.
This is Rock Hill/York and 11 total counties in the SC #5 district.
Please vote for Chad Connelly Tuesday. Thank you.

I've known Chad since high school, and there's nobody I'd trust in Congress more.

Will you be running on a platform to remove the gamecocks from the SEC? Serious question.

.....wasn't she the one who said," You've gotta let'em run loose and destroy some stuff", and now, since the police will not go near her riotous communities, she wants the Feds to step in a clean things up. And, she added last week, " It is all because there are too many guns".....

Sure mismanagement in local government did not help.

I grew up outside of Camden, and it has a lot in common with Baltimore. They were hubs of manufacturing in their hay days, but got hit hard economically when the jobs left and people moved out into the suburbs. These were once great places to live, no city deserves this.

city at one time but the voters chose this direction. Over and over again they voted the same corrupt and incompetent people in office based on their race and political party. Instead of recognizing the error of their ways they doubled down and voted to continue on their road to ruin. Hell, I left Maryland all together because much of the state has gone down this path. It sickens me but they are getting what they voted for, hence my "they deserve it" comment.

I do not know as much about Baltimore as I do Camden, but the the migration of affluence into the suburbs and the loss of manufacturing left Camden to rot. With out going into too much detail, those that were left behind were already in a losing situation and voted in their interests, which were few, wink nod...

Baltimore lost its soul when the despicable Robt. Irsay

moved the Colts....the big liar. I can still see photos of Mayflower trucks parked in front of the headquarters bldg
Just have never been able to replace them with the Ravens--although I know most of the area has embraced the old Browns.
(might be exaggerating some w/soul of Baltimore being The Colts....but it was certainly a blow that all Colt fans lamented for decades)

No doubt it was a huge hit to the city's morale and spirit.

I was sixteen at the time they moved and a diehard fan. If you recall almost every home game was blacked out because the fans stopped coming but I listened to all of them on WCBM. When they moved I cried like a baby for a week straight. The next eleven years seemed like an eternity waiting for the NFL to come back. I embraced the Ravens from day one. What you are saying though about the city losing its soul when the Colts moved has merit.

that cesspool of a police department. Those cats got away with voluntary manslaughter at least and murder two at most in the death of Freddy Gray. And I have quite a few friends living there who feel the same way.
