So you never actually attend a game? Just sounds weird to me, but I guess to each their own.

How you can kill an animal for fun is inexcusable you ####### self centered redneck. Go #### yourself, and the fries are beeping, better rescue them #######.

Wildlife, they were put on this earth to be harvested, until you sit in a tree stand, and watch a deer walk and feed and come into your crosshairs you will never understand! However my saturday mornings will either be spent at work, or having the time of my life tailgating with a sea of orange! Go Tigers...and keep hunting! Good luck!

No, KILLED. All this HARVESTED crap is just more political

correctness. I have no problem with killing deer, ducks, quail, etc. I was a bird hunter for many years. Raised my own dogs. Deer hunted a few years, but it just wasn't the same. Now I just fish. But, using the term Harvest doesn't make it any more humane. Personally, it implies that we were doing something immoral all those years when we just KILLED game. And now it is supposed to be acceptable because we HARVEST them.
But what does make me sick, is like this Tuesday, when I saw a doe in the ditch of a farm I am selling. I stopped to take a look because the skin was pulled back from her hind quarters. I thought coyotes had killed her and had eaten part of her, but when I looked close I saw that she had been shot, skinned up to her font shoulder and her hind quarters and back straps cut out by a hunter. THEY LEFT THE REST!! Sickening!!

I agree with you, Spud. No responsible outdoorsman wastes game. I go the extra mile to find an animal I have knocked down, including getting a tracking dog and chasing one for hours. I've killed 7 deer this year (all does but I've passed up on some younger bucks) and now have a freezer full of meat, which will feed my family for a year. I find it ironic that many of the folks who are so vocally opposed to hunting have no problem eating a steak from a cow that was expressly raised for slaughter. Hunters are just more honest abt taking an animal's life to put meat on the table.

270 cal. This is just my second year hunting, I can't wait to get on it!!! Last year I bagged my 1st deer, a nice 11 pointer. Hopefully Ill get a bigger one this year, but I'm afraid I used up all my luck on that 1st one.
BTW, I think its funny that there is always some tree hugger who feel so compelled to show their righteous @$$ when ever we talk about killing deer.

A .270 is a fine calibre for white tails. Might be the best overall round for deer hunting in the SE.

The guy never said anything about killing. He said the activity of hunting is what he was excited about. Big difference between hunting and killing but I don't expect you would know the difference.
