The good we played hard and never quit, had some very solid overall pitching this weekend. The bad was our hitters in both coot games constantly stayed behind in the counts and never gave themselves a real chance and TOO MANY RUNNERS LEFT ON BASE!. The ugly was the pityful umpires and the officiating that we all had to endure this weekend. It was terrible from calls behind the plate to the bogus baserunning calls! Some will say that we are lacking talent or that Jack has lost it. I really can't say that it is just one thing but when you take the Coots to the brink and play them as hard as we did, I cant say its talent. The bottom line with this team is that we are not an opportunistic team, PERIOD! Way TOO MANY DUCKS LEFT ON THE POND! That is all
Tanner has Jack's number, but the main difference is confidence! Cluckers expect to win! We hope that we can win! We used to have that same type of swagger, but it has been gone for a while, especially against the Cluckers! I think the world of Jack, but I also think he has taken us as far as he can take us!
