Clemson Ad in Chicago O'Hare

Not sure if this ad has already been posted. My apologies if "Germans."

Obviously, the game did not the way any of us had hoped. That said, Mrs. CBProf and I enjoyed seeing Notre Dame. Of course, we all might have had different experiences, but each of our interactions with the ND fans was friendly and very respectful. The ND fans with whom we interacted actually spoke VERY highly of Clemson. Loved seeing the campus. Everything was great except the game itself.

On the way home I noticed something I was not expecting. In the "H" concourse of O'Hare was a large ad for Clemson University. I could be mistaken, but the ad did not appear to be part of a "revolving" set of promotions in which different ads are displayed at different times. It appeared to be the only ad displayed in this slot until it is manually changed.

As a Marketing prof, I particularly like trying to gauge what an organization is wanting to achieve with a specific promotion. Enjoyed seeing Clemson displayed prominently (at least in this one concourse) at O'Hare - potentially extending the brand's reach within the Midwest.

That was great to see Prof. I’m glad you exposed us all to that ad promoting our university. Like it or not but Clemson, in recent years, has become a very well known university and we must give a lot of the credit to Mr. Swinney. He has done more than his share in making Clemson a nationally known place in the world of learning and football. Hopefully things will only get better for the university and our athletic department as well.
