My mother-in-law who is a Gamecock fan posted on FB the other night that they have won the past 3 years and they should be able to brag a little, its called bragging rights for a reason. I agree with her that we as Clemson fans have to beat them in order to regain that right. There was a guy who commented on her post that used language that in no way should be used towards a lady. If we claim to be the university with class then we should act like it. I know that each side has its fans but it's said that one bad apple ruins the whole bunch.

But then other than the fact that my work wanted us to all be on LinkedIn and I follow Clemson sports here on TigerNet, I have no interest in social media (FaceBook, Twitter, etc.).

football out on a website, you're inviting all types of comments, good and bad. And the problem is that there are many brave souls hiding behind a screen and using offensive language they normally would be loath to use otherwise. Hopefully, you can explain that to your Mother-in-Law, if she is offended.

I would say that Clemson might have greater than 90% good fans. There are always going to be a few morons in every crowd that don't know how to act, though. So yea, we have people that don't act right in our fan base, but we are doing better than many other schools. No school in the country has only good fans.
