CBS Sports Jerry Palm's Current BCS Ranking Projections

Obviously not official, but If the season ended today, it would be Alabama vs Clemson in the National Championship game! We currently hold a slight lead over Stanford (strong in the computers, but 5th in both polls) and Oregon (2nd in both polls, but 8th in the computers).

and quite frankly they don't even make sense. The computers aren't supposed to take win margins into consideration, so I don't understand how it could have Baylor 3rd (4-0 with wins over Wofford, Buffalo, LA-Monroe, and West Virginia) ahead of any of the other undefeated teams. He even has Baylor's current SOS at 149, while FSU's SOS is 57, Stanford's SOS is 13, our's is 61, Oklahoma's is 65, etc.

Sagarins ratings, according to Sagarin, will balance out after a few more games. I surely hope so. I can remember in prior years he had us rated a lot higher in the earlier polls.

out of our average... solid 4 with the computers gives us a good ranking. Once we blow out BC and handle FSU we'll be looking even better.
