Oh good…..the NCAA hired and politician.

I always say, “If you want absolutely nothing to happen at the most breathtakingly, astonishing maximum expense, hire a politician”.

Can I please get paid to preside over nothing

Dec 15, 2022, 11:11 AM

I can watch paint dry with the best of them

Joe Biden has been doing it for more than two years now.***

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Indeed and is in a league of his own in that regard***

Dec 15, 2022, 11:12 AM

from Massachusetts. Will be shutting everyone down for transactivism or covid23 before you know it. If your team is not wearing the Chin ese flag on their helmets then your eligibility will be revoked.

Wow this must be the greatest news of the year with this very lengthy article. I got tied of reading about it halfway thru. I wonder if Biden had something to do with this another liberal new Englander.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Is that a good thing? I can't imagine anyone doing worse

Dec 15, 2022, 11:46 AM

than the current president has.

The NCAA did something I like. Gov. Baker is a Republican I can vibe with and he spent almost a decade wildly popular in a deep blue state. This is a great selection.

2024 white level member flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

eh.. Mitt Romney was Governor of Massachusetts too.

Dec 15, 2022, 12:27 PM

basically a moderate democrat who is an opportunist. aKa RINO. They run as republican in a majority democrat state b/c they have a better chance of getting on the ticket being classified as a republican. In a field of way too many democratic candidates there's not enough money to go around during the primaries. Not to mention its also much harder to campaign in the primary against entrenched state politicians of the majority party than that of the minority party.

All that being said. When i hear republican of massachusetts I think of Romney who fights the republican party every step of the way. Just needs to reclassify his affiliation. Waste of a seat.

Kamala could do that job with the same results as previous presidents.

His first action will be to bulldoze the NCAA headquarters and turn it into a playground for the sea turtles saved by getting rid of our balloon entrance.

I generally like Republicans who are elected in blue states

Dec 15, 2022, 12:47 PM

and Democrats who are elected in red states, like Baker, Joe Manchin, Andy Beshear, Roy Cooper, Larry Hogan, and Mitt Romney who used to be Governor of Massachusetts.

What was of most interest to me in that TLDR was

Dec 15, 2022, 2:23 PM

that Grant Hill--yep, former Duke star, Piston, Magic, Sun--is part owner of the Atlanta Hawks.

Truly a good guy in sports who deserved so much more than what his body was able to do.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He is a Republican in a democratic state but

Dec 15, 2022, 5:03 PM

Because he brought some change to Mass, he is very highly rated. Just got 67% of the votes on his recent re-election. I know it seems likely politician won't get things done but this guy might. I know he cleaned up a very corrupt medical insurance fraudulent state. Hopefully he can get a handle on this corrupt NIL that has turned into a free for all.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Hmmm....

Dec 20, 2022, 4:39 PM

Republican.
But from Massachusetts.

The last time NCAAFB politics got involved in Clemson football, we had to move the ACCCG from Charlotte to Orlando because N.C. said trannies/perverts couldn't use the restroom with little girls.

Fun times.
