He's turning into the player that everyone knew he could be with time. I just wish we could have rep'd him more in games last season.

He often said "CAdE iSn'T ReADy" when clearly, he was the better QB. Particularly later in the season when it was apparent to everyone that DJ was struggling.

Plus DJ's numbers through our 8-0 start were up there with DW and TJ, though we weren't putting games away early enough.
CK2 had his opportunities early and didn't quite deliver enough to build a ton of confidence that, despite DJ's clunkiness often, were enough for the coaches to put him in over a guy managing the games for us. If your primary goal is to win the one at hand, there just weren't near the amount of opportunities for Cade to get reps last season like many believe.

Also great to see Stellato finally emerging into the player we had hoped he would be. Fingers crossed he has ridden himself of that injury bug.

Stellato is a very legit WR that a lot of people forgot about due to injuries. Craziest thing is he’s still getting back into the game, just wait until he really warms back up.

throw his hand up. He’s around the goal post at the time, moving towards the same sideline as Cade.

That was a nice play but we had two receivers in the same area which usually isn't good. I would think there was some improvisation by the receives and not drawn up that way.

That’s not the original play, once the QB scrambles the play becomes dead then it’s working to the side your QB is on to get open. It’s a perfectly executed scramble drill that the offense ran to perfection majority of the day.

He has the quickest release ive seen at Clemson. Not the strongest arm or most accurate but definitely gets out quick once he decides to pull the trigger. A very compact throwing motion.

Idk about the accurate comment, when he has time he’s as accurate as any QB I’ve seen. His deep ball isn’t bad and will get better the more he’s able to sling it. But his release is ELITE I mean NFL caliber release that just can’t be taught. He gets the ball out in a flash which is refreshing to see.

Absolutely agree on the release being NFL caliber and im not saying he is not accurate im just saying hes not as accurate as Watson and Tlaw, but he has time to get there.

By the time Cade is a Senior he will be as accurate as TL or Watson. Just needs to play ball and develope.
