I'm confused.... the trolls on tigernet that have most likely never played competitive basketball in their lives tell me that brownell is a bad coach.
Basketball players that have played at every level, and for a bunch of different coaches say the opposite. Who should I believe?!?!

The main thing is that it absolutely has nothing to do with the ACC being down. Not even a little bit. Nothing.
Saying, or even implying, anything different is conspiracy theory troll talk.
My guess it’s the character of the players. I’m assuming the “coaching” from Brad this year is the same as all the previous years because, as you point out, 13 years is kind of a long time to hide your great coaching ability.

he was asked about Brownell’s coaching style compared to Earl Grant’s. He said that Brownell is a lot louder, more animated, and more intense.
That is a stark difference from a lot of the posts I’ve read here calling Brownell boring, milquetoast, and lacking in emotion.
Maybe one day some of these “fans” will realize what a great coach he is.

No but since you’re so witty and smart, Coach Bender recruited him while at College of Charleston before he came back here. Out of high school Brevin was not an ACC player.

Correct. I believe Brevin’s offers were C of C, Coastal, Elon, and a few other

upset when Tommy Bowden was fired. It didn’t mean he was a great coach.
