The SEC and Big 12 announced a bowl partnership Friday, one that never more clearly defined the haves and have-nots of college football. If you’re not part of the SEC, Big 12, Big Ten or Pac-12, you’re on the outside with your face pressed against the big-boy glass.
That statement says it all.

already had a heads up on this, that might be why trustees were making odd statements, and no one could figure it out. Big 12 went out and got a commissioner who completely outflanked Swofford. Last year at this time, the ACC had the cards to do something, and now it's a memory.

1. the new Big 12 commish won't take full control until mid June
2. Prob. waiting until Big 12 meetings are over (prob. to ensure that is what they want)
3. Terms and contracts. Prob. a lot of legal stuff there and they are trying to sort everything out before signing.
Thats my three reasons...Not saying I'm right or wrong
