Like you said, Shaw's legs combined with Lattimore give them an excellent running game, which in turn makes their passing attack look so much better because they are incredibly effective with play action.

The key to beating the Gamecocks is to score early. If they find themselves in a passing situation late, they're in trouble (unless they can just out-talent someone - as was the case in Kentucky).
