I hate it. I’ve always hated it. Close games are decided by the refs. Offensive players just fling themselves into the defense, draw a foul, win the game. It’s BS.

Couldn’t beat’m in the other sport either

Clemson’s conference record is so much in the crapper even a hot streak can’t save it at this point.

5 against 8 today. Refs influenced the outcome . Even the announcers questioned multiple calls and non calls today.

I loved it so in the 80s. The 3 turned it into a numbers game of skill and took away a lot of the team sport. I suggest we add a 5 point line at half court and a 10 point line (opposite 3 line). That would open things up even more and create ~10 exciting shots per game. Many "athletes" could hit 20%.

That's not basketball to me tho.

Yea used to be a die hard bball fan years ago. NBA, college it did not matter but it’s hard to watch now days. Could not tell you the last time I watched an NBA game.

Different game when I was coming up we got called for palming and traveling. Not sure those 2 things are against the rules anymore. Fouls are like PI calls in football …inconsistent.

They can change the game in basketball like no other sport.

Sure football and soccer can have bigger individual decisions but basketball refs control the entire flow and tenor of games

Loved basketball my whole life, loved the ACC in the 70’s and 80’s, but yes it has become almost unwatchable.

100% on offensive players throwing their bodies at the basket. You have two choices, play defense and get called for a foul, or get out of the way. Knew Duke would get bailed out before it ever happened.
