baseball - inconsistent

i will get killed on here for this but I am in the minority here.
I dont think all of our problems are coaching. Inconsistency at the plate with runners in scoring position is a big problem with this team as well as relief pitching. Friday nights game: 2nd and 3rd with no outs and the meat of the order is up down 2-0. soft liner to 1st, sac fly to left, and 3rd out = 1 run. 9th inning: lead-off walk, tried to sac him over and pops it up. Next guy singles, first and 3rd. strikeout, strikeout to end it. Thats not coaching, thats lack of execution with runners in scoring position. Today we go up 3-0 and our starting pitcher was not good. Bullpen was bad again. I know coaches are ultimately responsible for how their teams perform but they cant make plays for them. We have played really well at times, but for the most part, Daniel Gossett has really been the only constant with this team. Its frustrating to watch but to put it all on
coaching is laughable. If Brad Brownell gets us to the elite eight every four years and to the final four twice in the next ten years he would be worshipped on campus. Lets face it, had it not been USC who knocked us out in the fiinal four of the CWS, people wouldnt be calling for the coaches heads. I still believe this team makes a regional. However, until certain guys step up and perform consistently, it will end in a regional

We had a head start on scar in baseball, better facilities and coaching. Now they have better facilities and coaching. We have fallen way behind, and you say it's not coaching?

Our players don't do the little things and they crumble in the clutch, time and time again. This program is so frustrating because you know they could beat anyone, or LOSE to anyone. No consistency. Bad approach. Bad body language from coaches and players. Yet we have talent. Who is responsible?
