the defense is able to stop FSU from scoring more ponts that us! Seriously, given FSU's competition so far, I kinda like us in a shoot-out, had we not called off the dogs, we might have scored 80 Saturday against a FBS team!

the D look bad because there's not a ton of depth and they're on the field more than the opponent. It's more important not to waste possessions than ball control. The offense is very feast or famine. You either score fast, or punt fast. The O just has to execute and outscore people right now.

FL St test will be this week,but when Clemson goes to town next week I believe the important thing is to keep Fl St. offense off the field and Clemson score when they have the ball.

If you look at TOP we are killing teams because while we are a hurry up no huddle we want to run the ball and play at such a pace that we wear the opposing D out. You don't do that if you score in under a minute. Most of our scoring drives are long, sustained, punishing ones that leave the D with their hands on their waists sweating bullets.
