North drops Clemson from plans, per KornCOOT

WR Marquez North of Charlotte has scratched Clemson from his list. His father contacted Clemson recruiter Danny Pearman Thursday and told him of the decision. North will now focus on North Carolina and Tennessee. He was scheduled for an official visit to Clemson this weekend. "Marq said he didn't want to go," Ramando North said. "He said he wants to stay close to home. He felt Clemson was too deep at wide receiver. And he didn't like how people were committing and decommiting." North has taken an official visit to Tennessee and might go back Saturday for an unofficial visit. He is scheduled to visit North Carolina officially next weekend.

You'd think he would like Clemson MORE with Nuk leaving and the other WRs decommitting.
Also sounds like he's a little afraid of competition. Still wish he would change his mind.

His dad wants him elsewhere, knows if he comes , he might want to commit. Something has always came up every time he's supposed to visit. Pick up Clark,along with Williams, we still replace what we lose this year. Sammy leaves next year and maybe MB. Pickup 2 more then. If the new RB's come in smoking , we could see Brooks getting moved back to WR.He came in as an athlete playing both the WR and RB positions.
