Goose creek and Summerville are definitely a hot spot as far as housing goes. 10 years ago who would have thunk it?

Mom went there in the 60s. Dad used to talk about renting a boat for $5 a day at Mabeline lodge and getting a bag of woodies and a few shell cracker to bring home to grandma to cook for supper.

Get out! I'm right across the creek in HP. A good fella on Archibald cut me a key to the ramp there.

It was warmer than expected and after the rain moved on it was a great afternoon and evening.

We lived in cane bay but on a lake a couple years ago, was our forever home and got to do the same things. Had to move for work and pay that we couldn’t turn down… miss it.

I'm technically in what I like to call "new" Hanahan. Off foster creek.
Cane bay was a great hunt club about 20 years ago. It was all west vaco land sold to developers.

I live in Crowfield and have several Wood duck boxes in the lake behind my house. It is great to observe just how smart these things are.

...wood storks, and a great blue heron for me. 71 degrees and sunny after the rain cleared out.
A freshwater lagoon 20 feet from my back yard helps.
Love me some Low Country!

I visited about 30 years ago. Ate more steamed oysters than should be allowed.

I grew up fishing that place. Dad was in a hunting-fishing club there. Lots of memories.
