Hard to win when we’re missing arguably the most elite ACC 3 pt shooter in 30+ years.

Just my opinion that he could be the difference in our record now and being undefeated.

He certainly shoots an elite 3pt percentage when he is on the court! Goad you are realizing that

Aren't there players one the bench that we can take the redshirt off of?

Have two players being redshirted now. How can you do that with just 13 scholarship players?

That was literally Judge Mountaineers argument the other day.

She didn’t realize his total shot count didn’t qualify him. That was funny.

In his career, He has shot an elite 3pt percentage at 42.9%. If you dont believe that percentage is elite, then you know nothing about basketball.

But you claimed he was on pace to be the greatest 3 pt shooter in the ACC in 30 years - only being hampered by injuries. Not just “elite”. That’s more arguable. I have no idea how to go about determining how many have shot better over a career and not met the NCAA record minimums (and it’s an NcAA record book thing - not Sports-Reference’s arbitrary preference). There are a few on active ACC roster’s with 100%. Guess those schools should start building statues.

That's not what i said, but you know that.

I didn't read the fine print on the website. It was 200 makes, not over 200 attempts.

I personally believe that nearly 300 3 pointers taken is a large enough sample size to determine how good a 3 point shooter is, especially if it is done over the course of 5 years. You apparently do not. Every player that you have thrown out there has not sustained an elite 3pt percentage throughout their career. Somebody makin 10-18 3 pointers in a season, but then shoots 25% from 3 in other seasons does not make them an elite 3 poinn in t shooter.

The fact is that when hemenway is on the court, his 3 point shot has been elite. You apparently dont believe 42.9% is elite. People that understand basketball and dont hate clemson do. You are always entitled to your own opinion despite how dumb it is.

I haven’t thrown a single name out regarding the non-stat you’re floundering around because I, like you, have no idea. You thought that ranking validated your opinion. You read it wrong. And now, rather than admit you were wrong or do the research yourself (by all please look up the career 3 pt percentage of every ACC shooter for 30 years), you just insist you’re correct all the same. In any structured debate you lose - you presented false information and are now arguing without evidence. You might, however, be qualified to preside over an Ivy League school.

apply to basketball, or just other sports?

Joking aside, we don’t need to make excuses because we are having a great season and there is no shame in Clemson basketball losing a competitive game against a top 10 UNC team.

I mean, it’s not like we lost to a team that we dwarf in talent, resources, and history. THAT would be embarrassing for sure.

You mean like Loyola-Chicago? Morehead State? Louisville's 2022-2023 dumpster-fire team (lowest NET of any power-5 team)?

You're right, losing to even one of those in one season would be as embarrassing as SCAR football losing to the Citadel. Losing to more than one probably should have gotten the coach canned. I'd hate to think what it would represent if a coach lost to all three of those in one season! That would probably right there keep a team out of the NCAA tournament!

Oh, wait, we do know. Shrugs all around. Excuses from the blind fan base. "We were snubbed!"

Coach said “ we got to go with what we've got." When Dabo said that you were all over him for poor roster management. Is there a different standard here for basketball vs football? Or I guess this is another lack of support issue? Or maybe you just don’t troll basketball like you do football.

For the record, the comment was appropriate when made by both coaches IMO.

Let’s be abundantly clear - it only counts when it has a detrimental effect on Brad Brownell. Everything else is specious or irrelevant.
