3 tough games, UGA, FSU, and the crooks.
worst case, 9-3, possible 13-0.
We are finally building enough quality depth at all the positions that I think the term "Thudding" may not be used much in August.
I expect a much tougher defense and I am eager to see the 2 young running backs coming in. Outside of McDowell, I am not sold on who we have on Campus as being a complete package.
UGA will will be a tough test for us defensively, but it seems our players are working their butts off for this game and I think that will be the difference.

I'd say, unbiased, we should be favored in both our major home games and be a slight betting (at least how the season looks at this point) underdog in Columbia.
I think our defense will see a similar slow improvement over the course of the season, similarly to last year. We will miss AE, but I hope our "share the load" strategy pays off, because a fresh decent running back is just as dangerous as tiring star.
I'm really interested in our Line, if we can protect well up front, Tajh will find a way to win. They'll be a major deciding factor in our big 3 opponents.

Our OL is going to be a nasty group under Caldwell for years. DL is going to be a salty bunch as well. I think Vic Beasley is going to ball out this year

I think we win 2 of the 3 tough games mentioned. I don't see us favored in any of them though. I hope 1 of those wins is against the ###### chickens. I'm tired of making excuses why we can't win against them. Plus, if we lose to FSU, then we won't even win the division. So, I hope we win all 3, but please win FSU and usuc.
All 3 of those teams finished higher than we did last year, and unless their wheels run off, I don't see that changing come game time.

Let's just look at this from an unbiased standpoint for a second:
1.) It's at Clemson. At night. Advantage number one.
2.) UGA loses the majority of their defense. We return the majority of our high-powered offense. Advantage two.
3.) Yes, they have good runningbacks. Guess what? Our strength is stopping the run. Advantage 3.
The only real place I think we have some problems is breakdowns in a new secondary. But I think we can slow them down. The question is, can they slow us down with a brand new defense? I don't think so. And I think we get a few stops/turnover, pile on points early, and hit cruise control mid-way through the 3rd.

returning" , and i am assuming that you are referring to your "d", the players y'all lost were the starters for a reason. our "d" was young, were in the 1st yr. of a new defensive scheme, and our secondary was decimated by injury. given that 1. our players will be a yr. older,with an added "off-season" of nutritional accessibility, weight training, etc.- you can expect improvement. 2. this will be their 2nd yr. in bv's system - you can expect improvement and 3. our cornerbacks,especially, will be returning healthy - you can expect improvement.
all of this will be in addition to our offensive output, which adds up to a pretty potent team. we should, at the very least match last years victory total, and quite possibly exceed the number of wins. we'll start with uga!

agree, aron murray will test our secondary in this game, do not see the Dawgs having too much success running on us. Even Spurrier and Miles firgured that one out late last year.
Biggest advantage to clemson is that uga gets out of the gate slow, see last 5 games vs gamecocks.

We will probably not be favored against the Dawgs and most certainly not against our Coots , so those two wins will be that much sweeter. Clemson will have at least 11 wins with more a good possibility and less a little less likely. Trap games at Syracuse and Thursday night in Raleigh .

your biggest worry should be that you guys take a little while to get going, yet ussually finish in the nations elite. I think Clemson sneaks up on you in this one. My only worry is that Murray has the ability to beat us deep, which has been our Achilles heel as of late. It really comes down to our front 7 vs your offense, if we can harrass Murray, then advantage clemson.
As far as your D, nobody really stopped us last year except ourselves. We can score on anyone and your D will be inexperienced. And last I checked, UGA's new D coordinator has not prepped for an offense like ours, seems you missed the A&M buzz saw last year.

1-1 vs. the SEC schools. Hopefully w can beat FSU at home resulting in a 10-2 final regular season record and 7-1 in ACC. That will win the division and assure a spot in the ACC Championship game.
