Ball was clearly downed at the one-half. They spotted it at the one.

I don’t know the width of Renfrow’s foot, but that’s where it was down. His foot kept it from rolling into the end zone and THAT is where he downed it... not 6” shy of the 1 yard line.

It seems like they never spot the ball closer than the one, even when a offensive player is down an inch from the goal line.

I thought the same thing until another poster showed me the rule stating that the spot can never be inside the one yard line.

But I guess the puppy fans are mad it wasn't spotted at the 20.
