McDowell always does his best blocking. Some backs have the ability but not the effort. McDowell will do well with the extra carries next season. He was better than Andre against LSU as far as carrying the ball

Agreed. He pretty much just dove at the guys feet. It wasn't an INCREDIBLE block. If anything talk about the guy's tough runs he had in which he carried defenders. That block was.....well it worked....we will keep it at that.

It was an important block. BUT I would hope that's now how we are teaching our backs how to block. Throwing a body at the lineman's feet? A very good lineman would have hurtled that block and gotten to Boyd.
