Cursing could be a problem. It's completely out of control in Louisville. They'd be terrific to hate. Except... basketball.
I believe it might happen based on football. There's no doubt Louisville wants to win. It's pretty simple. Aside from the interesting newness of it all, we'd like to make life hard, lol.

Petrino is a highly competent offensive coach. Clemson is advised to be ready for the Louisville team and forget any sideline action.
Rivalry with Louisville? Sounds good to me. Any rivalry will be based upon the success on the field over years, and not on the personality of any coach.
Full disclosure - I know Coach Petrino's parents, a brother and a sister ... all are brief and pleasant encounters.
