formed when the ABB broke up in '76 and included Chuck Leavell on keys, Jaimoe on drums, and Lamar Williams on bass. They were named after Leavell as in C. Leavell.

I saw several great shows in Tillman and what a great venue. It only held like 800 people. We actually went in the side window for some concert, I think it was the Outlaws who blew the roof off. Other great Tillman concerts I saw:

The Dregs were in Edgars maybe a year or two before I got to Clemson, I think. Plus, I could always get out of working for the really great shows and attend as a fan because I wasn't a work-study that had guaranteed hours. I worked as a fill-in at Edgars.

On a side not...I'm relatively sure I was the only person in Clemson that worked at two bars at the same time...and did that twice during my illustrious career.
