Anybody watch ancient aliens?

Sep 9, 2012, 2:14 PM

Not sure I believe everything they say but they do bring up some very interesting points. For example, how ancient people of the past built the pyramids in egypt with such detail and in such a short amount of time is amazing, makes u wonder if maybe there was "visitors" in the past. For those who haven't seen the show, its going to be on all day on history channel.

Did the aliens invent football?

Ha yeah he's crazy. Ancient aliens is definitly something you have to watch with an open mind, alot of people may not like it. If u look at the people they interview in the show, alot of them are professor's, former astronauts, author's, etc.

But I have seen a UFO before and I wasnt the only one who witnessed it, there was about 4 or 5 other people who saw the same thing I did. Sep 9, 2012, 3:25 PM [ in reply to "wasn't from this planet" how exactly can you prove that*** ]

Me and my gf were walking on the beach at night, there was another couple who were about 20 feet in front us. All of a sudden 3 bright orbs come out of the ocean and fly straight up in the sky. Notice this was about half a mile out from shore. The 3 orbs flew up in the sky and lined up vertical to each other. After about 15-20 seconds, the 2 outer lights shoot off into space, and i mean they shot off. Nothing we have on this planet goes that fast, it had to of been the speed of light. The middle one stayed there for about 5 more seconds and then followed the path of the other 2. Me and my girlfriend were in shock. The couple who was in front of us, who were total strangers, ran over and asked if we just saw what they did. We talked for a few minutes and quickly left.

Re: That show takes away all the credit from ancient cultures

Yeah but exactly how they lifted stones that weigh over 50 tons is mind boggling. Engineer on the show said it would take 6 cranes to lift something like that, not to mention he said it would be difficult, even with the technology we have today, to build the pyramid of giza in the amount of time the ancient people built it in the past.

yes and limestone is about 168 pcf

Sep 9, 2012, 5:09 PM

which means a 100,000 lb block would be about 600 cu ft or over 8ft x 8ft x 8ft, which of course is a huge piece of stone. Actually the stones were about 10 tons max, which is heavy but doable.

If alien life forms were smart enough to travel here, we'd darn sure know about it.

A lot of things have been done with slave labor throughout history.

Egyptians, Ottoman Empire, Romans, Persians, British colonialism, and the rise of America (both before and after the revolution).

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That still doesn't explain the engineering precision.

Sep 9, 2012, 3:54 PM [ in reply to How did they build the pyramids: slave labor. ]

Aliens didnt actually "build" the pyramids but provided an extra hand and guided them on how to do it. There are numerous marks of mechanical tools in the pyramids. They even said that some of the walls are so sharp, if you rub your finger across it you will cut it yourself.

Aliens did build the pyramids.

Sep 9, 2012, 7:58 PM

They were called slaves and referred to themselves a Children of Israel. Have you ever taken art an history class? They Egyptians had no significant structures before the Jews arrived. They have also had none since they left. The Jews lived in Egypt in bondage for 400 years.

The first architect was called Imhotep. Art and Architecture History 101. No, he wasn't the mummy. It is now believe that he was the Jew called Joseph who interpreted the Pharoah's dream and saved the Egyptian people from the famine the Pharoah's dream predicted. Of course that's in the Bible so a scientist would consider it as history.

But then, ET is much more romantic than slavery.
