I haven't heard a thing about that either. In the beginning of the talks, I thought that was the part holding things up, but haven't heard a word since the hire. I'm hoping that ML get what he needs to compete and win with. If he doesn't, there will be no justice in firing Jack just to hand cuff the replacement coach!!! That would also mean not serious about baseball....

Per the Post and Courier,ML wants to retain Lecroy and bring
Heath on board if he doesn't get the job at COC.

He better keep LeCroy on staff at least for time being (hopefully permanently) he is the only one that has passed the NCAA recruiting test for Clemson at the moment. Heath, Lee and any new coach to staff will have to pass it before they can go out on the road. My understanding they have to pass it for the current school (Clemson) and not the previous one (CofC) they are at, even though its open book.

Never mind it lasts a year from Aug 1 to July 31st if you switch schools in same division aka NCAA Division 1. The only thing that would keep them from recruiting after July 31st is if they haven't taken the next year test.
