Story time, not very good but I'll give you some deets

Daughter has a dance recital at Converse. That in itself is enough to make a man begin to slip past the edge of sanity and start to twitch. Now take a marine with self diagnosed PTSD who's wife, which had a miscarriage last June, is 7 mos preggors and beginning to stress out b/c she over thinks everything and you've got yourself a nice like recipe for RH Tig massacre.
After the recital (after daughter is off stage, not staying until the end of that mess) I was taking her to IOP for a week. This was planned and known by all parties. What wasn't discussed is the actual "exchange of goods" as how I think my ex sees it.
Once off stage and house lights go down I excuse myself from the auditorium and go pick up said daughter. I assumed my ex would be there, say their goodbyes and we'd roll out. Guess what happened? Just that.
A few mins later, she pussied out on confronting me face to face and sends a condescending text about that little stunt I just pulled. I told her we never discussed the "exchange of goods" and she'll be strong. To which she losses and tells me I'll be sorry. I shrug it off and start to vacation.
My daughter then said she needs help with her and wants her mom do it. I don't ever deny the kids a chance to see their mom and I thought this would be a good time to get closure on this run in. I take my daughter to see her and she starts running her #### sucker about how she swears she sent me a text that morning. Well I keep every text I've ever gotten from her for the last 4 yrs just in case this crops up. So I scroll thru the phone, no text. Well maybe she sent it last week. Luckily Im a good scroller and guess whats not there. Well she just doesn't know how this could have been overlooked.
At this point her watch dog starts barking something about how TOTE1 is not going to put stress on his overthinking wife. I let him know that Im not necessarily scare of him and that I don't see how this is an issue, that they said their goodbyes and we rolled out. He bows up on me chest to chest and tells me he's going to kill me. I tell the ex to get her dog back on its leash and proceed to go all jounge on him by telling him to go eat a #### as I am now having to console the daughter and reconcile with the ex to let her know everything is okay.

@Tharealdonjuan Late January 1993. 9:30 pm. Drunk driver driving his gf's car with no license stalled in the middle of the road on a blind curve. Freeman traveling well within the speed limit comes around curve and collides with said drunkard in she drunkard's vehicle.
Drunkard gets out of car and threatens my life while chasing me with his knife. I keep my truck between the two of us. Somewhere in the ruckus, drunkard winds up on his back wondering what has happened. Tells cops I whooped his ### and he wants to press charges.
I don't know exactly what happened because I was not wearing seatbelt and my head broke the windshield @40 mph. Steering wheel almost broke my sternum. If drunkard hadn't been so drunk, I'm convinced he would have taken my life.
If had to do over again, I would have stayed home, would still have my '91 black S-10, and would have no exciting brush with death. I said it was fun. That was sarcasm. It wasn't fun. Richard was his name...and he was a real ####.

Walp, sorta. Had a gun pointed at me
Jun 13, 2016, 1:35 PM

so I assume that was a threat.
Now the backstory:
Was in high school at a buddy's house. Buddy's dad lived in another city, so single mom. She had a BF. After mom and bf were asleep, me and a few buddies may or may not have been partaking in certain activities that may or may not be legal today in certain states. BF walks out in robe and says something about how the FBI could be watching through the window. I'm all smartassed 16 yr old and say something like LOL yep maybe so but like Imma go with prolly not. He then pulls gun out of robe and points it at me and says time to go home.
From there, I proceed to scream uncontrollably at him all PUT THAT SHAT DOWN YOU MF THATS BULLSHAT EFF YOU YOU MF FUGG OFF FUGG YOU and on and on. He departs to his bedroom and closed the door. I then run out of the house and go home.
In hindsight I shouldnta yelled at him but like you never really know how you react until it happens I guess.
Good times and TSB.

snowball fight escalated

... into "Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature." Not surprisingly, alcohol was involved so details are a little hazy. Guy pointed what I thought was an AirSoft gun, my friend thought it was a pump shotgun. He did pump the action, so it could have gone from empty chamber to loaded. Not sure if police recovered weapon later. I continued throwing snowballs as I thought it was AirSoft. Guy then comes at me and then my friend with large-bladed instrument, picture in my mind is the blade was wider at end away from handle but relatively straight, sorta small machete. Held blade to my neck and shouted/shoved. I knew blade was real, thankfully he wasn't committed to actually using it. Eventually his friends calmed him down and I left. I think he got a slap on the wrist and was allowed to go to Iraq/Afghanistan with military. Not sure if there was ever a conviction.
TLDR: It's important not to provoke drunk strangers, but that is hard to remember when drunk.

Drunk Greenr told a Gamecock/Soldier just home from Iraq
Jun 13, 2016, 1:45 PM
|

that I would pull for the Taliban before I pulled for the Gamecocks. Pretty sure he was serious when he said he was going to kill me. I was young, dumb, and full of bourbon but I knew when to back down. I bought him a beer and PROFUSELY apologized. Never been so scared and ashamed in my life, pretty sure I sobered up immediately, but later got back to drunken. Twas at that chitty bar on the beach just off of Ocean Lakes Campground.

I'm living right; had a gun pointed at me twice( once an attempted robbery and I grabbed the gun, 2nd time a drunk teen having female problems), and a crazy x's new love threatening me ( well, two different ones).
