He was a problem - 352 tackles and only two years as a starter.

Do you think there is a LB currently in the portal who fits our culture AND can help us on the field AND is not looking for an upfront NIL deal? Not sure that needle in the haystack actually exists.

These violations or perhaps behavioral characteristics which portended violation(s) of team rules must have been in the works for several months.
Coming out of spring practice, we never heard about TJ Dudley (highly regarded HS player, full RS season under his belt) despite our threadbare LB depth.
Early enrollee Jamal Anderson was praised for his play in the spring. RJ Mickens was recently cited for his ability to play in the box (translation … we run a 4-2-5 or 3-2-6 scheme with 3 or 4 safeties, respectively, to manage our thin LB corps). The unnoticed elephant in the room was TJ Dudley.
Moving on … what’s the Tiger pulse for portal LB Nigel Glover (the LB from Northwestern who bolted in the wake of the firing of Pat Fitzgerald).
If there was ever a portal match made in Death Valley between Clemson and a LB star, Nigel Glover sure looks good from through the looking glass.
(?). Any insights (that can be shared), Mr. Hood?

Is this linked to one of the two players that have the "negative accountability points?
If so, maybe Dudley wasn't receptive to being placed on a PIP (Performance Improvement Plan).

He would have been looked at by the NFL scouts & his plays highlighted because of our two superstar LB’s are among the best.
I think Woodaz starting ahead of him and kicking butt against Tennessee might have hurt his feelings rather than drive him to get better.
I believe Dabo challenged him and he rebelled but I haven’t been given the truth yet. Somebody knows why he was dismissed…
