I'm so tired about hearing how we got all this elite talent and to have the debacle we had last night i beg to differ, this team was in no shape or form was prepared for this game or any game for that matter it was by far the worst game of the entire weekend for a top 25 team and that in it's self is embarrassing.The defensive coordinator is failing to bring the fire unlike venables and it shows on the field, just like last year the only player we have consistently on offense that gives 100% and then some is Will Shipley the rest not so much at least at receiver and running backs, as it stands now they will end up getting Shipley Hurt because really thats all we have pretty much at this point.

There is nothing about our team that is elite. Personnel, execution, coaching. That word should not be associated with the last several years of this team.

Unfortunately, this team has been declining over the past 3 seasons but it was not obvious to us until last night.

I'm gonna say the decline was evident before Lawrence left. Anyone could see it beginning to slip.

agree with that! They better worry about just being a decent team at this point and after last night they are far from that.

4 years is beyond me.

Lots of fans and our coaches use the 10 win barometer as a barometer for success, but fail to look in details what TRULY make an ELITE TEAM...........since our slip started our conference has insulated and fooled some of our ignorant fans into thinking we were better than we truly are.

Yeah your right the acc the last heck 10 yrs or so has not really been a top tier conference and it really made Clemson at the time look better than we really were i know we won two national championships and that's great but do you really think we would have won if we played in the SEC at that time, to his point the competition level helped pave the way now the gap has closed and even now has went the other direction with Fsu on the rise, the way i see it we will never be what we once was due to the transfer portal just look at colorado and FSU and until Dabo does the same we will always be behind especially at skilled positions.
