After hearing the call in show rant, only a few ways the future goes

1. Dabo makes some changes, portal and coaching, and we return to at least close to where we were a few years ago. If this happens, Dabo might stay, but he very well might move on while things are going well. He might stay, but I'm way less sure that he would than I would have been in even the recent past. That tone was really surprising. He sounded, at times, like it was more so him vs us than "we". I know he doesn't think most fans are like Tyler, but his response almost seemed to suggest so.

2. If things don't go well and we become an 8-4ish type program, he will leave, plain and simple. After hearing the rant, that's not a guy who is going to listen to complaints and deal with scrutiny for any longer than he absolutely has to, and many would argue that he shouldn't face a lot of scrutiny from the fans, based on his success.
Having said all this, we should definitely hope he stays. The guy has done a phenomenal job and there is no sure thing when it comes to college football hires. Arkansas, if it becomes open, would hire Dabo in a heartbeat, if possible.

None of us know what the future holds, but I believe Dabo will be at Clemson for a long time.

First of all I believe strongly that Dabo will right the ship. We are 123rd out of 130 teams in scoring in the red zone. We have made countless mistakes that have helped our opponents in every game. We have made dumb mistakes at the wrong times of games. And we have somehow forgotten how to kick field goals. Yet when you look at every game we have lost, we had a chance to win every one of those games.

We need some position coaches changed out especially on the O-line. And we need some Jimmies and Joes at receiver and RB. Put all those together and the Tigers can start getting better next season. Not saying we will be playoff bound next season, but we can start climbing our way back.

Another reason I think Dabo will be at Clemson for a long time is this is literally his baby. Dabo built this program from the ground up to levels never seen before at Clemson. It drives guys like Dabo crazy to lose especially after winning at the highest level.

And the final reason Dabo will stay is because at some point NIL and transfer portal are going to have regulations implemented to return some order back to the sport. The financial competitive advantages that some schools have over others will be removed.

Reasonable Clemson fans do appreciate what Dabo has achieved as our coach. Winning is hard and if Clemson had never done it before that would be a different story. The fact that Clemson has won at the highest level proves it can be done again.
