There are a few of us headed down to Miami this week. Any suggestions from people that have been there?

If you’re looking for an exciting place to while away a few hours, I would suggest Overtown.

JK about that. I ended up there after missing a turn or two. I would not recommend that.

Seriously, the stadium is between Ft Lauderdale and Miami. It’s in Miami Gardens.

I would stay in Ft Lauderdale personally and give yourself plenty of time to make the drive to the stadium as traffic can suck.

It’s not a typical college vibe at the stadium as the Miami campus is a bit over 20 miles away from Hard Rock stadium.

S FL still is a nice get away with good food, golf and fishing if you plan ahead.

It’s just not a typical college football atmosphere at all. I’ve been to 2 games down there. We won both, so it was a good time.

It’s a bit of a haul, but if you’ve never been to Everglades Nat’l Park, give it a look if nature stuff floats your boat.

Further but more of a Caribbean light type of experience is Islamorada in the FL Keys.

With the worst of summer heat gone, S.FL is a good place to hang out in October … before the Yankee migratory season reaches its peak.

stay anywhere on A1A .. plenty of hotels and restaurants

up and down A1A. lots of stuff in Biscayne to do . U can rent fishing charters just about anywhere or jump on one of those party fishing boats .

i recommend renting a convertible Mustang with 5.0 liter engine and just driving up and down A1A with the ragtop down.

Pack for warm/hot weather. Went there for the Orange Bowl against Baker Mayfield and the Sooners. Left North Augusta, SC when it was about 40 degrees. Got to Miami and it was humid and around 90.

It might be warm in the day, but a night game in Miami can get really cold. Take a jacket just in case and don't dress like you are headed to the beach.

Try out Wynwood and Cafe La Trova! Both are great times!

Fly into West Palm Beach & stay in Boca Or Palm Beach then take the Sawgrass expressway to the game 35-40 minutes away.

The stadium isn’t in Miami.
