Recruiting benefit of having another FLA school would have been great. Still trying to figure out what Syracuse brings to table in football.

Bad, bad idea. We already are clearly losing top recruits to FSU and Miami, not to mention those off and on that pick Florida. No need to make it even worse.

reason Syracuse was taken.
Even though we're playing in a BCS bowl this week and FSU's playing for the NC next week, basketball is still what drives our conference.

Syracuse has better academics and adds a big state to the ACC footprint.
