A good number of T-netters are dead set on ridding the men's basketball program of Brownell, while some believe that he's a good fit at Clemson. Well, we can have both.

After our inevitable 1-1 showing in the ACC tournament, and likely 1-1 showing in the NCAA tourney, Neff names Brownell Clemson's next women's basketball coach. Crazy? Like a fox!

1. Averaging 18.5 wins a year is better than what the four previous coaches have done. So if he can do on the women's side what he's done on the men's side, it would make both men's and women's basketball fans happy.
2. He won't have to live in the shadow of football, or coach a sport that's "never had any success" since this program HAS won both the regular season and tournament titles in the past AND went to the NCAA tournament 14 times in a 15-season span. That's something to build on!
3. The women's game plays with smaller balls. Make whatever association you like.

Shouldn’t you be busy helping Neff prepare a new contact that will fend off the inevitable offers from major programs after these two incredible back to back seasons? Or are you FOS about both Brownell and your Clemson connections?
