College Flash Classics

Anyone been watching the reruns of college flash classics? I caught the 1985 UVA game and the 1998 NCST game. Begin out of state, I wasn't a Clemson fan until 2001 when I started school. It's remarkable seeing how different Clemson was in the 80s and 90s on the field. In fact, during the intro for the 1985 game, the host said remember in these days Clemson was an elite team. The show was from 2001. By contrast, the 1998 game was a half empty stadium, and Torry Holt worked us.

It's great to see the direction of the program after 20 years of mediocrity.

NC State in 98 was on Saturday before fall break. That along with worst season we have had in the last 35 years had a lot to do with that crowd. Worst crowds were early 90s during Hatfield years.
