...on the basketball courts of NYC. I was a skinny white boy with a deadly crossover and I hustled unsuspecting victims for $$$ on a daily basis. My jumpshot was lethal.

Now imagine my surprise when an even skinnier and paler kid with a french accent challenged me to 1 v. 1 for a whole weeks worth of winnings... and then I was the one who got hustled.

18 year old kids make mistakes. Go Tigers.

someone had offered me what looked like a huge NIL deal back then when I was SEVENTEEN and a senior in high school, I probably would have jumped at it and made the mistake. Fortunately for me, nobody was looking for 2nd string D-linemen who ran the 40 in about two weeks, could bench about 125 lbs, and had about an 8" vertical leap. So, Clemson it was, and an Engerneering degree!
