As a junior, Pagan had five sacks and 11 tackles for loss, and also intercepted two passes, returning one for a touchdown. This past season, Pagan had 52 tackles (11 for loss) and 14 sacks but tore two ligaments in his right knee in the second round of playoffs. He had surgery in late November and is expected to need at least 8 months to recover. Pagan was selected to both the Shrine Bowl and the U.S. Army All-American Bowl but could not play in either due to the injury.
Pagan is a former receiver who is just now learning to play defensive end. Has great speed and can chase down offensive players from behind.
