2015: Appeared in every game and logged 53 snaps defensively ... has seven tackles, including two on special teams ... played 12 snaps in the opener, and 24 against Appalachian State ... posted special teams tackle in win over No. 6 Notre Dame ... tallied career-high 14 snaps and three tackles at Miami.

2014: Has played 10 snaps over four games ... played 10 snaps against SC State on Sept. 6; it was his first career game.

Before Clemson: Rated as the No. 12 player in South Carolina by Rivals.com and No. 18 player in South Carolina by ESPN ... had 2,000 total yards as a quarterback and accounted for 24 touchdowns as a senior ... had 48 tackles and four interceptions as a senior ... while playing under Head Coach Wayne Farmer as a junior, he had 33 tackles and an interception ... played basketball ... state champion in the 400m in track ... coached by Darryl Page at Lower Richland High School ... recruited by Mike Reed.

    How good will Clemson’s defense be? I think they’ll be good enough to help Clemson get back to the College Football Playoff. It’s hard to lose 16 starters over a two-year span and not see some sort of drop-off.
