Sanders expects increased playing time for Clemson

A familiar face has been visiting the Crestview football practices recently.

View Full Profile , a rising redshirt junior at Clemson, has been home for a few weeks between the spring and summer semesters.

Always an excellent student, Sanders recently completed his bachelor’s degree in history and will start graduate school when he returns to school this summer.

The 6-foot-6, 320-pound Sanders is coming off a strong spring practice and is ready for things to get going in the fall.

“Spring ball went pretty good,” he said. “We got a new offensive coordinator (Chad Morris from Tulsa) and a new offensive line coach (Robbie Caldwell from Vanderbilt). Coach (Brad) Scott (the former offensive line coach) retired – well, he moved to an administrative position. I knew coach Caldwell from when I was being recruited by Vanderbilt so it worked out real well.”
