has Georgia, North Carolina, Clemson and Tennessee as his finalists with Georiga and North Carolina leading according to the AJC. “I’ve been talking with [Clemson assistant Marion Hobby] and everything, and we’ve started to establish a great relationship,” Whitehead said. “I want to go down there and see how the atmosphere is for a game. I was supposed to go to Clemson for the FSU game but I had some family come into town. I watched it on TV, and I saw where the crowd ran on the field after the game. That was pretty cool. I’d love to play somewhere where the fans get that excited about football.”
Clemson is the new school in the picture with Whitehead, and the Tigers may be doing the best job recruiting him.
