He plans to visit Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Louisville, Alabama, and Auburn doing the summer months. As a junior, he had 36 tackles and 7 interceptions (returned 2 for touchdowns). He has physical coverage skills at corner and also a good return man for his high school team. Thompson is also a standout baseball player and may try to play both sports in college.
