Overview: Signed in the fall of 2010 with the program, along with Bernard Sullivan...was one of five first-year freshmen on the roster for the Tigers in 2011-12...energetic, infectious personality who saw plenty of playing time early on in his first season under Brad Brownell...will need to add strength and weight to make even more of an impact in year two...showed an ability to shoot from long distance at a consistent rate...second to Rod Hall among the five freshmen in minutes per game in 2011-12...with the graduation of Tanner Smith and Andre Young in the backcourt, will have a major opportunity to contribute more regularly as a sophomore...majoring in community recreation, camp & sport management...recruited to Clemson by former Associate Head Coach Rick Ray.

In 2011-12: Appeared in 30 of the 31 games...played 482 minutes, second-most among five first-year freshmen...averaged 16.1 minutes per game...only game he did not play was the Virginia Tech game in the ACC Tournament, Clemson's final game of the season...averaged 3.6 points and 1.6 rebounds per game...shot 32 percent from three-point range for the season, but 39 over the non-conference portion of the schedule...averaged 5.7 points per game prior to the start of the ACC schedule...scored double figures four times...tallied 22 steals, fifth-best on the team...earned nine starts, tied for the most among Clemson's freshman class...scored in 13 of Clemson's first 16 games, but in just four of the Tigers' final 15 games...made at least one three-point goal in 13 games...tallied two or more steals in six games.

Best Games of 2011-12: Scored 13 points on two occasions, first in Clemson's road win over Iowa in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge...came off the bench to play 22 minutes in that game, hitting 5-9 shots, including 3-6 from three-point range...also had 13 in Clemson's final non-conference game against East Tennessee State...made 4-9 shots, including 4-5 from three, in that win over the Buccaneers...played season-high 31 minutes and started that game for the Tigers...started first three games of the season, including the opener against Gardner-Webb when he notched 11 points on 4-6 shooting, 3-5 from long distance...scored 11 points in a start at Boston College...played 24 minutes against the Eagles and made 3-6 field goals and 3-3 free throws...converted a rare four-point play in the second half of that game at Boston College...scored seven points at The Citadel and played 26 minutes, grabbing six rebounds and adding three steals...posted six points and two steals against Coastal Carolina...scored seven points against Alabama State...made 3-6 from three-point distance for nine points at Hawaii...played 23 minutes and recorded seven points in home overtime win against NC State...made 2-4 from three in that game with the Wolfpack.

In High School: Three-star prospect according to most of the national recruiting services...rated the No. 7 prospect in the state of Florida as a high school senior by FloridaHoops.com...2011 AAAAA first-team all-state selection by the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches...also named to the all-state team at the AAAAA level by the Orlando Sentinel...averaged 21.6 points per game as a senior...played in 2011 Florida vs. USA Basketball Hardwood Classic, he led Florida with 16 points and was named to the All-Showcase Team after the event...played in South Florida All-Star Basketball Showcase, leading Broward County Public School Team to victory over Dade County after scoring 19 points...won slam dunk contest in that event as well...named to All-Tournament Team at the 2010 Kreul Classic in Coral Springs, FL; his top game was a 31-point effort in an upset win over rival Dillard High School...also posted 24 against Dillard later in the season in a Feb. 5, 2011 game... AAAAA fourth-team all-state selection as a junior...averaged 19.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game as a junior in 2009-10...All-Broward County selection by the Miami Herald...led his high school to No. 2 ranking in the state poll his junior season...coached by Gerald Gillion...born Daniel Timothy Sapp, Jr. on Sept. 27, 1992.
