2015: Redshirted as a member of the developmental squad ... played for Wilson in the Coastal Plain League in the summer, where he was 5-3 with a 3.40 ERA, .264 opponents’ batting average and 39 strikeouts against 12 walks in 55.2 innings pitched over 13 appearances (eight starts).

Before Clemson: All-state and all-region as a senior ... Herald Journal Player-of-the-Year as a senior ... No. 11 player and No. 2 righthander in South Carolina by Diamond Prospects ... No. 27 player and No. 7 righthander in South Carolina by Perfect Game ... lettered four times in baseball at James F. Byrnes High School, where he was coached by Michael Maus.
