Former Clemson OF sent to minors

Former Clemson outfielder Tyler Colvin has been re-assigned to the Marlin's minor league camp on Tuesday according to team reports.

Colvin hit .223 in 139 at-bats with two homeruns in 57 games for the Giants in 2014. In 2012 with the Rockies, he hit .290 with 18 homeruns, 27 doubles, 10 triples and 72 runs in 136 games. For his career, he has a .239 average with 49 home runs and 178 RBI's.

He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs with the 13th overall pick in the 2006 MLB Draft.

In 2006 with Clemson, Colvin batted .356 with 13 home runs, 70 RBI's and 23 stolen bases.
