Just wanted to drop a quick note about the blog from yesterday and today. Wednesday afternoon I injured my back again. A herniated disc between my L3 and L4 has me down. I missed work on Thursday (for only the fourth day in my life). I can sit up for a few minutes at a time but must lay down on my right side to help with the spasms. Sorry for the lack of a blog the last two days but I hope a weekend of rest will get me back on track for Monday. Have a great weekend. See you guys again Monday.

Mickey - I had surgery 4 months ago for the same L3-4. Are your legs hurting? That was my downfall. It takes a long time to get over this. Good luck.

You don't work. You've never done a day of work in your life. Get your tail to the station, take a seat in your padded chair, and don't ever compare yourself to people who actually contribute to society through meaningful work again.

Hey, clemson32. Do us all a favor and change your login name. I would just as soon not be associated with a man who kicks another when he is down. I am sure that Mickey welcomes your criticism of his opinions and even the job that he does but your comment is baseless and cruel. We are all guilty of not thinking before we type. Let's hope this was an isolated incident.

Mickey,

I had a herniated disc 10 years ago. You can have surgery now, or wait (and hurt the entire time) until later. The best thing for the pain (after surgery) is to lose as much weight as possible.

I hope you feel better. Oh, and Clemson32, if that was a try a humor, you missed buddy.

Good luck. I had surgery just this past Thursday for the same thing. I'm sore, but moving around ok.

I wasn't able to lie flat in my case and had to sleep on a chair & use a walker to get around.

Hope you get better soon...

Just had surgery 4 weeks ago, had 2 disc's went bad. Had to sleep in recliner for the first week after surgery. Try a memory foam pillow, helped to ease the pain for me. Speedy recovery, and hope feeling better soon. "Go Tiger's"
