Mickey,

What is the big fish in this recruiting class? Thanks.

Gervonte

Gervonte,

This class has several guys that could fit into the "Big Fish" category. Clemson has three five stars in Deon CainDeon Cain

. Cain and McCloud could have an immediate affect on the offense next season. Both are dynamic playmakers with the ball in their hands. Wilkins is a physical rarity. He is a massive man that moves his feet like a skill player. I would say he reminds me of a Chester McGlockton-type of defensive tackle.

I think the combination of Mitch HyattMitch Hyatt

on the offensive line can be classified as this type of talent as well. In my opinion, these are the two most talented offensive linemen Clemson has signed under Dabo SwinneyDabo Swinney

. Both players are here and both have a chance to be early contributors.

Finally, there are other candidates like Mark FieldsMark Fields

. Fields is a star at corner that could come in and make a major impact right away. Smith is a terrific linebacker in space. Huggins, Ferrell and Bryant are very athletic, four-star defensive linemen. Williams is a future starter at tight end and Kelly Bryant is a rare talent at quarterback.

This class is full of big fish.

Mickey,

Listening to the show this morning. Is Deon Cain coming to Clemson this weekend? Also will Ray Ray McCloud be with him?

Love the show and this time of year

Thanks

Sean

Sean,

Yes. Clemson expects both Cain and McCloud to be here this weekend. Cain will be on an official visit. McCloud's will be an unofficial visit.

Mickey,

After reading your "Florida State Review" blog today I almost felt like I had gone back in time to the Cliff Ellis days when the Tigers were horrible at the free throw line.   The things change; the more they stay the same.  It is just pitiful to lose a game because you cannot hit more than 51% of your free throws.

Kindest Regards,

Kirk

Kirk,

Free throws were the difference Monday night. Fortunately though, Clemson has been much better at the free throw line under Brad BrownellBrad Brownell

. Hopefully we will not revert back to the Cliff Ellis days.

Mickey,

Any idea when to expect our football schedule for 2015?

Thanks.

Bill

Bill,

If it is anything like recent years, I would expect the schedule to be out in the next month. The ACC is the last Power 5 conference to announce it every year and it is frustrating. I would think we would have it in the next four weeks.
