Mickey
Mickey haven't heard anything on Ebo lately? He had a pretty decent spring by what we heard correct? With Beasley and Lawson and Crawford playing so well is he just not needed or what?
Thanks

Ryan

Ryan,
Ebo is red-shirting. I think they liked him coming out of the spring but the Tigers are deep enough at defensive end that the staff could afford to red-shirt him. If Vic Beasley goes pro after this season, Ebo may get a shot at the two deep a year early.

Mickey,

Hope Ryan an Yourself are doing good.

Mickey seems that my last ? About being more physical with the receivers an playing more man is starting to be answered. My first ? Does the valley holds 83000+ correct? Well does that # in include the hill or just seats? What Is the place actually maxed out to hold? Why don't they give a actual count on scanned tickets? Cause I'm sure the hill holds what 1,000 ppl maybe? How would Clemson fair in letting Vic just line where anywhere say, LB, DT to see if he would throw opposing Offenses off? Any chances they go all orange this wk?

Thanks Mickey. Awesome shows in the morning.

bjcPARKERdsc

bjcPARKERdsc,
Official capacity in Death Valley is 81,500. That includes the hill. That number is less than it used to be because they lost some seats when they changed the West End Zone. The record is 86,092. I think they now count tickets scanned.

When you let a guy freelance then it takes away something he could be responsible for. For example, who has containment? Who is responsible for the flats? This could be dangerous.

I doubt we will see anything new this week in terms of a uniform.

Mickey,

Did you see or hear about the Esso renting ALL of the outside tables Friday to BC fans?  We wanted to eat outside with our puppy on our way to our camper Friday after work, but we couldn't get a table.  We were told that BC fans paid to reserve the entire outside.  As a Clemson alum, this was very disappointing.  This is a cornerstone of Clemson University, and although I understand the financial side, it's embarrassing that we sell out to opposing fans!

Wesley

Wesley,
I was not aware of this but I do know that the number one goal of most businesses is to make a profit. If that was the case then I understand why they wanted to maximize their profit potential.

Mickey,

Read David Hood's on Sunday and I think he has a point worth reiterating. An ugly win, really????? A win means you won. In this day of style points, it means something to beat a team into the dirt, or it is not enough. Don't get me wrong, winning is fun and I'd be lying if a comfortable lead means less grey hairs, but at the end of the game, I want the win. The good news is we are ranked high enough, so we only have to keep winning. Good teams win by working through adversity and that is what makes this team special. My confidence in the Tigers and why we will keeping winning lies in their ability to manage adversity. By 1 point or 50, enjoy each one!

Stuart,
I'll take eight more ugly wins. In the end, only two letters matter--W and L.

Mickey:

I cannot believe the ACC gave FSU two weeks to get ready to play the Tigers this season.

Kindest Regards,

Kirk

Kirk,
At first I thought the same thing and it may be factor. However another way to look at it is that FSU was on a roll offensively and maybe last week took some momentum away.

Hi, Mickey,

What do you attribute to the momentum that Coach Brownell and his staff have accomplished getting some success on the recruiting trail having Donte Grantham Donte Grantham

commit to Clemson over Michigan two weeks ago, and going back last spring with the commitment of Sidy Djitte over Memphis? Do you think these are the type of recruits that can get Clemson back to being in the upper echelon in the ACC again? Thanks.

Keith

Keith,
I think it is mainly about relationships. I know the staff worked extremely hard with both players and it was the relationships they had that made a difference. I think these are the type of guys that can help but this league is unbelievable now and only gets tougher next season when Louisville joins the league. I think Clemson can be better but upward mobility in this league is always tough.
